We are immensely proud and want to congratulate Ann Robins and Jenna Taylor on the completion of their Advanced Apprenticeship in Health (Clinical Healthcare Support) qualification. Ann and Jenna enrolled on the apprenticeship programme to enable them to gain further skills and knowledge which they could implement whilst working at Roseberry Care Centre. Together they have over 25 years of experience of working in a care home.
Studying on the course gave them the motivation to apply to university for their Adult Nursing degree.
Sunderland University gave them a conditional place on the understanding that they completed the Advanced Apprenticeship in time for their April intake.
They both pushed themselves to be completed in time for the April intake. Jenna said “It was a lot of work to do in a short space of time but our assessor, Karli Clough, went the extra mile for us, she was very supportive and would always be available for us whenever we needed her.”
They have both said that they are really looking forward to starting at university which has some amazing facilities including its own ward and ambulances they can work on, along with SimMan dolls and interactive rooms to help with their learning. They also have to go on placement every term where they get “hands on” learning with patients.
Absolute Care Training and Education Ltd wishes them every success with their future careersLeave a reply →
